Meeting between the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam and the Office of Ombudsman of the Phillipines.
On 16th September, Vietnamese
Inspector General Huynh Phong Tranh welcomed the Senior Delegation of the
Office of Ombudsman of the Philippines.
Attending the welcoming included Vietnamese Deputy Inspector General Le Tien
Hao and the representatives of the Heads of departments, bureaus and units from
Government Inspectorate of Vietnam.
At the welcoming session,
Inspector General Huynh Phong Tranh expressed the sincere thank to the Philippines’s
Ombudsman for her care and continuous realization of cooperation commitments
between two agencies. H.E Mr. Huynh Phong Tranh also wished the meeting to
achieve good results as expected.
After the welcoming and gifts
presenting, Inspector General Huynh Phong Tranh authorized Deputy Inspector
General Le Tien Hao to chair the talk between the Senior Delegation of the
Office of Ombudsman of the Philippines
and that of Government Inspectorate of Vietnam.

On behalf of the Leaders of GIV,
Deputy Inspector General Le Tien Hao briefly introduced the GIV organization
and reported the operations of inspectorate industry during the first 08 months
of 2014 with the highlighted results on inspection, complaints and denunciation
settlement, anticorruption and civil receipt as well as the lessons withdrawn
from these works. One of these lessons referred to the focusing on the inspection
cases’ quality instead of quantities, especially on the fields which still had
the limits and were concerned by many people such as: land, finance and
banking.

The Representatives of Philippine
Delegation shared the inspection experiences on navigation, environment and
public procurement etc. Accordingly, the Office of the Ombudsman of the
Philippine was very decisive and determined to deal with the violations on
these fields. Besides, the office for investigation and inspection on
investment sector were established to attract and maintain the confidence of
investors into the Philippines.

The two agencies had shared the
effective experiences gained from many years of work and simultaneously
expressed the demand for delegation exchanges to study and visit in the future
for the sake of further tightened and realized relationship between the two
countries’ Inspectorate agencies.
Finally, Deputy Inspector General
Le Tien Hao wished all the delegates from the Philippines
good health and success and hoped that they would continue sharing the experiences
on inspection works taken by both countries’ inspectorate agencies to fulfill
the missions entrusted by Party, State, Government and People of Vietnam and Philippines.
